Green Bay Packers Running Back Vernand Morency - A Definate Sleeper

Green Bay Packers Running Back Vernand Morency has a chance to shine in 2007, now that former starter Ahman Green has moved on to the Houston Texans.

Morency showed promise toward the end of the year. Over his last 5 games, he had 33 carries for 178 yards, averaging 5.4 yards per carry, and scored twice.

The main competition Morency has for the starting job is rookie Brandon Jackson, who was recently injured during training camp. If Morency can hold off Jackson, he could be a real nice surprise for fantasy owners in 2007
