Houstan Texans Running Back Ahman Green - A Denver Running Back In Houston?

Ahman Green could be the surprise running back of the year in Houston. He showed he could still play in 2006, rushing for 1059 yards and 5 touchdowns, plus 46 receptions for 373 yards and a receiving touchdown - and he put up these stats while missing two games.

One thing you have to remember about the Texans ground attack is that it is coached by the former offensive coordinator of Denver, which has been known to produce quality running backs year after year.

If Green can hold off speedster Samkon Gado and tank Ron Dayne for the starting job, he could return to his pro-bowl form, that is, if he can stay healthy.
