New York Jets Running Back Thomas Jones - The Surprise Pick Of 2007?

New york Jets running back Thomas Jones could surprise in 2007. He has averaged over 1,250 yards rushing during the past two years in Chicago, and has landed on an improving New York Jets team.

Quarterback Chad Pennington should be able to keep defenses off balance with talented receivers Laveranues Coles and Jerricho Cotchery, and the Jets were tied for 9th place in 2006 with 15 rushing touchdowns - expect Jones to be the go to guy in goal line situations.

Jones will lose some touches to Leon Washington, but he should see the ball at least as many times as he did during the past two seasons in Chicago, and is more than likely on his way to his third season with at least 1,200 rushing yards.
